HPE signed EPC Contract with WAPDA for Guddu 747MW Combined Cycle Power Station Project in Lahore Pakistan at 14:30 on September 19, 2009. The President of HPE, Mr.Guo Yu and Vice President Mr.Zhang Liwei were present at the signing ceremony, and Mr.Guo Yu made a speech on behalf of the company.

PEPCO, Owner of the Project, invited the international open tender on May 15, 2008. During more than one year’s commercial and technical negotiation between two parties, PEPCO awarded the project to HPE on July 1, 2009 and obtained the approval from ECC of Pakistan on August 18, 2009.

The Project contained two sets of GE Frame-9FA Gas Turbine, two Heat Recovery Boilers and one unit of Turbo-generator. The total period for completion is 36 months.
