At 17:50 on June 9, Uzbekistan local time, the No. 1 gas turbine of Uzbekistan's Syrdarya II 1600MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project, constructed by Harbin Electric International (HEI), successfully completed its 72-hour reliability operation, with all operational indicators meeting the design standards.

Faced with a complex and volatile external grid environment, the technical backbones on the project site implemented a 24-hour shift system to ensure immediate adjustments upon receiving commands. The No. 1 gas turbine and its auxiliary systems, electrical control systems, and other components operated normally with stable key parameters, smoothly passing the power grid assessment. The HEI Syrdarya II Project Department strictly adhered to the quality bottom line of "getting it right the first time", guaranteeing the successful pass of the 72-hour reliability operation on the first attempt with a rigorous, prudent, meticulous, and pragmatic working style.

The Syrdarya II project is a benchmark project for industrial capacity cooperation between China and Uzbekistan, and currently a highly efficient and eco-friendly combined cycle power plant with a leading total installed capacity in Central Asia. Once put into operation, the project will effectively alleviate local power supply pressure and provide stable support for Uzbekistan's industrial development and residential electricity use. As an iconic engineering project of HEI's strategic layout in the core "Belt and Road" market of Central and North Asia, the successful completion of the No. 1 gas turbine's reliability operation has further consolidated the Harbin Electric brand's reputation in the high-end power generation sector of Central Asia, and strengthened the enterprise's core competitiveness in the regional energy EPC general contracting market. Moving forward, the Central and North Asia Regional Headquarters of HEI will leverage this project's milestone achievements to aggressively advance market development, leaving more "Harbin Electric footprints" in the high-quality development process of jointly constructing the "Belt and Road".
